Mid/South Canterbury

The mid-south Canterbury region covers the Canterbury Plains from Ashburton south to Waimate bounded by the Waitaki River in the south.  In the north is Methven, gateway to the Mount Hutt Ski Field and Ashburton, a short drive from Christchurch.
