Real estate has been in the blood of Paul Lochore from an early age. His parents were the owners of a real estate business in Wellington’s eastern suburbs and, as a teenager, Paul would regularly show potential buyers through properties on behalf of his father.

Leaving school at 16 with a talent for sport but no academic qualifications, Paul spent two years at National Radiators and another at Wellington builders Ankor Homes before entering the family business, RF Lochore’s at the age of 19. Paul has worked for himself ever since, taking over the running of the business at the age of 23.

After 15 years in the industry, Paul made the decision to seek greater challenges and relocated from Wellington to Auckland, starting the award winning Lochore’s Real Estate from the ground up on the North Shore which today operates with a staff of over 30. Lochore’s has operated as a member of the Professionals Group since 1985 during which time, aside from being a Director of the group, Paul has also served as the Chairman from 1995 to 2002.

Paul has always played an active role in the local community and sports groups. He has coached and managed multiple sports teams as well as having served on school boards, the Birkenhead Licensing Trust and the Birkenhead Council, and is currently on the board of North Shore Hospital Foundation.
