Introducing Durrelle Green
Durrelle is enthusiastic, vibrant and a successful lifestyle and horticulture specialist agent!
Choosing real estate as a career was a natural progression for Durrelle as it utilized all the skills & things she loved best about working into one career. Marketing, her love of dealing with people; helping people, talking to people and providing people with service that is better than they have had before, along with an absolute passion for rural living, all lead to real estate. When she talked to people about what she does, Durrelle always say ‘sell homes, but her business is people” she never say “sell real estate”. Because that is what this business is about, it’s about the people as well as the properties. Durrelle loves the concept of real estate match making– putting buyers & sellers together, it’s like she is Cupid!
Honesty, enthusiasm, and being 100% committed to providing excellent service is her focus. Durrelle likes to keep things simple, transparent and to be upfront and honest. It is important for her that her vendors and buyers receive the very best service - She will be that agent that goes the extra mile for her clients every time “Leave no stone unturned” as her mother would always say!
Her profile in the rural real-estate market is rapidly growing, she has established a considerable reputation as a skilled negotiator, Durrelle thrives on personal growth and is highly motivated to become the best at everything she pursues. Her major strength is in her practical ability, this coupled with her vision, her interpersonal and communication skills means she can make her vendors and buyer’s dreams come true. Durrelle’s enthusiasm for the job and ability to consistently deliver outstanding results allows her to have a strong network of clients to entrust their property interests with.
Durrelle’s background is varied and colourful - literally colourful. She cultivated her career working mostly in the art and farming industries. She owned Harrisons Gallery in Tauranga, so her love of art is evident. She was creative from a very young age, winning her first colouring in competition at the age of 5 (She won a packet of radish seeds!). At the age of 17 she started her own small business; hand painting furniture– also winning a big contract with Pumpkin Patch at the age of 19. Sign writing, cartooning, teaching art– if its art related she has done it! In 2003 durrelle completed a Certificate in Veterinarian Nursing and managed a small farm but then she was enticed back into the art world taking on her pristine position as the new manager at Harrisons Gallery. The experience of owning multi small businesses has allowed her to gain invaluable proficiency in marketing, budgeting and servicing a solid client base. She has lived her entire life on lifestyle blocks & orchards, always having had horses, driven tractors, done fencing, raised calves, thinned kiwifruit or pruned avo trees! This is where her ‘jack of all trades’ skills have come from– growing up rurally, if something needed doing you just did it. Durrelle loves the bay and everything about it– the lifestyle, the beaches, the country side, the people, her home, her family, her animals and all the wonderful friends she has here.
With a reputation built on honesty and trust, you can be confident that Durrelle has both the capacity and the level of care to achieve the best result for your most important asset.
