Sam moved to Central Hawkes Bay from the UK ten years ago and has loved the beauty of the area ever since. Born in a town of 200,000 population you would have thought that moving to Waipawa with a population of 2,000 would be a huge culture shock, but in fact Sam believes it was the best decision she ever made and still ten years later is loving life in CHB, where she is proud to call ‘home’.
Sam has always been regarded as what you would call a ‘people person’ and at the end of the day, “people buy from people”. Her experience has demonstrated that no matter what arena Sam works in, she excels, and that is down to her dependable, trustworthy and professional manner and that everything she does, is done with a smile on her face!
In the UK, Sam’s career was in business development, account & sales management so she knows how to relate to all kinds of people and how to build great relationships where clients will continue to come back to her due to the great service they always receive.
Sam and her husband know that CHB is the best place to be bringing up their family, so are over the moon that their children Ethan and Abi are fully involved in life here and enjoying all it has to offer. Since the children were young, Sam has given her time to volunteer activities to ‘give a little back’. Most recently Sam has been heavily involved in the running of the Junior Football Club for which she received ‘volunteer sport maker’ of the month. As Chairperson for the PTA of Waipawa School, Sam’s greatest achievement amongst other pursuits, would have to be co-ordinating and inspiring a team of parents to create the acclaimed ‘Evening with Sir Richard Hadlee’. It was later in the year she was nominated for the “Pride of New Zealand Award” in the volunteer category due to the noticeable dedication and commitment Sam showed for the school.
In her spare time, Sam enjoys spending time with her family, whether that is kayaking, biking or sports. Running is a passion and she also finds gardening ‘therapeutic’ and has been landscaping her garden for the last five years! Travel has always been high on the agenda, with her and her husband having travelled around the world, which is how they discovered their love of NZ.
With her friendly but professional attitude and intuitive ability, dedication and passion, Sam will always go ‘over and above’ to make sure that you are 100% satisfied with the service you receive from her. So, if you are looking to buy or sell your residential property, give Sam a call.
