Introducing Marie Hook

Hi, I am Marie Hook and I would like to thank you for this opportunity.

It is always important to know something about the person you are dealing and I have included the following information so that you can learn something about me and get a feel for my personality.

I am a Wellingtonian at heart, having been born here before spending much of my childhood in the Chatham Islands.  My family moved to Tawa during my college years and since then, I have continued to be a resident in the Kapi-Mana area.  My husband works in Wellington and we have two children who grew up in the region.  These days I am also a proud grandma to two gorgeous little girls.  Being an outgoing person and someone who enjoys meeting others, Real Estate has given me an opportunity to develop a career that incorporates these aspects.

I have enjoyed many years in Real Estate, having previously worked for L.J. Hooker, before joining the ‘Professionals’ team at Double Real Estate. Whilst I am based at the Tawa Office, the Double team cover listings and sales of properties from Pukerua Bay to Johnsonville.

Being part of our community is important to me.  I am involved with the local branch of Zonta, an international organization that endeavours to improve the status of women and I have been a volunteer for Women’s Refuge since 2008.

My family has been involved with Paekakariki Surf Club for many years and I am committed to the Child Cancer Foundation – a key cause for the Professionals.
