My long tenure in the education sector has equipped me with outstanding people skills - a primary pre-requisite in delivering an uncompromising level of commitment to our landlord clients. I have a natural ability to identify the central essence of a problem and provide an appropriate solution.
I consider myself task-orientated and have a natural bias towards doing things right. I bring with me a great wealth of life experience, a common-sense approach, and an excellent sense of humour!
On a personal note, I love the outdoors - tramping and gardening bringing highlights to my weekends. I have more than 35 years of marriage (to the same partner) to my credit, and two lovely girls. I have lived all her New Zealand life within the Auckland central area, which qualifies me well for this business in our focus market region.

I just wanted to let you know what a fabulous rental team you have with Lesley & Tina!
They rented out our property on Campbell Road a couple of weeks ago. I was most impressed with their prompt and efficient and wonderful service. They came and took photos of our unit on the Tuesday and by the Thursday it was rented out! (After being vacant for over 3 months!)

I would like to commend Lesley Dunsmuir who has been managing a property in Onehunga for me since I purchased it in January 2010. This was my first house purchase, a nervous enough experience for anyone - but in my situation, this is an investment rental property and I live in England and I felt like a complete novice!

What can I say about Lesley?
I consider Lesley to be a fantastic representative of your company. She is efficient, fair, punctual and reliable plus she has a lovely personality and a great sense of humour, a big plus in her job I would imagine!. Who else would turn up in the evening when your water pipe has burst and flooded downstairs, help you clean up and lend you her dehumidifier? In my opinion Lesley really goes the extra mile.
What would I do without Lesley? Probably panic I suppose… I have four young children and the thought of having an investment property and dealing with all that came with it was a bit daunting…
But a year on and it feels like a breeze! Lesley is wonderful. She runs it all in the background for me and when issues arise she is fast and efficient! We had our property for only 3 months when our tenant up and walked out on us. I didn’t even stress as I knew with Lesley on the case it would all work out…… and it did. Within in two weeks we had fabulous new tenants in who are there for the long haul. Every landlords dream and I owe it all to her persistence and determination all along with a friendly phone call and smile. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone!
Lesley has been our property manager for our 6 flats for about 9 months. In that time we have found her very prompt, accessible and professional.
She was able to gain good quotes for jobs required on the properties and competently take care of all the management relating to the contracts. She maintains good working relationships with our tenants while also making it possible of for us to make a fair return on our investment. She is always easy to deal with and takes much of the hassle away from owning rental properties.

I did not realise how stressful it was managing my rental property until she took over the role. I no longer have a sinking feeling or get palpitations whenever a tenant rings me, thinking that I either have to fix something in the property or need find a new tenant. She has found excellent tenants for both me and my parents and kept us up to date with periodic inspections. On her advice I am also earning more in rent than I was previously. It’s been well worth my while.
