A Worthy Cause
Every week at least three Kiwi kids are diagnosed with cancer. Child Cancer Foundation (CCF) has been supporting the children and families facing this unimaginable hardship since 1994.
Child Cancer Foundation offers a helping hand with emotional, social and practical support. That includes a dedicated family support coordinator to provide strength and comfort, essential care kits to make time at hospital easier, help with everyday living costs and much more. They also support cancer research and provide grants to medical professionals to further their medical education and training.
We believe that Child Cancer Foundation is a very worthy cause, and its for this reason that we have chosen to support them since 1994. Since we began contributing we’ve raised over $5.6 million to help Child Cancer Foundation continue their amazing work, and we are proud to be a “Super Hero” Business Partner.
We make a dontation for every house we sell as well as getting on board with the Annual Street Appeal, Wig Wednesday, and additional events throughout the year.

March Street Appeal
Every March, the Child Cancer Foundation have their annual Street Appeals. Professionals teams across the country go out in force to raise money for this important cause.
Open homes, BBQ's, auctions and street collections are organised, and all the money goes to CCF.
If you don't see our teams or the hundreds of other volunteers collecting for CCF during the appeal, you can make a donation today by clicking below.
Wig Wednesday
Every year, the Child Cancer Foundation hold a Wig Wednesday fundraiser. This is a fun way to get sponsors and the community involved and show support for Kiwi kids who are fighting cancer.
Our offices around the country rally their communities to get their wig on with wiggy BBQ's, sausage sizzles, busking events and street collections. All money raised goes to CCF to support the work that they do.
We are proud of every contribution we are able to make and we look forward to continuing to do our bit.

Timeline of Our Relationship with Child Cancer Foundation
At the end of 1993, a member of the Professionals Group lost their child to cancer. With this personal connection began our relationship with the Child Cancer Foundation.
Here are a few of the milestones:
•1995: We raised funds to help Child Cancer Foundation produce educational brochures for families about child cancer.
• 1997 & 1998: Our fundraising contributions helped Child Cancer Foundation purchase a four bedroom property in Taupo to offer to children and their families as a free holiday home.
• 1998: Our fundraising contributions helped contribute towards the purchase of another holiday home in Queenstown. This was later sold and a holiday home in Arrowtown was purchased in its place.
• 2004: We contributed funds towards the purchase of a building for Child Cancer Foundation Family Places in Wellington and Auckland.
• 2016: We became the official supporter of Child Cancer Foundation’s Family and SIBS (Specially Important Brothers and Sisters) camps.
• 2022: Covid-19 cancelled the biggest fundraiser of the year; the March Street Appeal. We had to get really creative and push the appeal online. It was awesome to see the results, despite the unprecedented situation everyone was in.
Without Child Cancer Foundation, Kiwi kids diagnosed with cancer, and their families, would not get the amazing level of support and assistance. Professionals are 100% behind the Foundation and will continue to support them by fundraising across each of our branches in New Zealand.
