Signage: Installed 26 - 30 November 2026
Photography: 2-4 December 2026.
Judging: 14-15 December 2026.
Judge Prizes: Best New Entry and three returning entry prizes.
Public Viewing: Lights must be on from 1-25 December 2026.
People's Choice Voting: Vote for your favourite display on Facebook from 9-15 December 2026.
Winners Announced: 17-19 December 2026.

Photography
You know when your Christmas lights look their best! You're welcome to send us your own high-quality, landscape photos of your display. Otherwise, our team will pop around and take photos between 2-4 December.
Terms and Conditions
By entering the Professionals Christmas Lights 2026 community showcase, entrants agree to the following terms and conditions.
Eligibility and Entry
Entry is open to households within the Invercargill city boundary, with one entry per household.
Entrants must have permission from the property owner or occupier to participate.
Professionals reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify anyone who breaches these terms and conditions.
Property Display and Promotion
By entering, you agree to your property address being published on the Christmas Lights map and promoted through Professionals' website, social media and other promotional materials.
You acknowledge that members of the public may visit your display at their leisure during the event.
Professionals may use photographs and videos of your Christmas lights display for promotional purposes without payment.
A Professionals entrant sign will be placed at the front of your property or on your lawn by our signage representative.
Judging, Voting and Prizes
Entries may be eligible for judging and prizes, including a People's Choice Award decided by public voting on social media.
Winners may be asked to participate in publicity, including photographs and announcements.
Prizes cannot be exchanged, transferred or redeemed for cash.
Professionals may substitute prizes with alternatives of equal or greater value if necessary.
The judges' decisions are final.
Public Safety and Responsibility
Entrants are responsible for ensuring their displays are safe and properly maintained.
Professionals is not responsible for loss, damage or injury resulting from participation or visitors' actions, except where required by law.
General Conditions
Professionals may extend, change, postpone or cancel the event if circumstances beyond our control require it.
Entrants will be notified of any significant changes where possible.
Personal information will be used to administer and promote the event in accordance with New Zealand privacy laws.
Entrants may withdraw by contacting Professionals. We will remove their address from our online promotional materials as soon as reasonably possible, although printed maps already distributed cannot be recalled.
