The Pathway

Professionals offers entrepreneurial Salespeople the unique opportunity to rocket launch their career with our Pathway to Business Ownership programme. This provides the opportunity to build a tangible asset, a team and create greater financial security. We have developed a programme to guide and support you in the move from Salesperson to Business Owner in four steps. We will match you with a mentor from within the Group, and support you in setting up your own business, opening an office, and building a team.

Step 1: Seed

After applying to join the Pathway to Business Ownership Programme, we will get started into Step 1 of the Programme: Seed.

Meet your mentor. You will be matched with one of our owners who will act as your coach and mentor towards owning and operating you own business over the programme.
 
Learn the Professionals way. Get to know our systems, culture and approach in the minimum time.
 
Build a business plan. In preparation for the next step of the programme, we will help you build a plan to generate your own sales across your team, and learn all you need to prepare you to operate on your own.

Step 2: Growth

In this step, you will establish yourself within the brand and settle into the systems. You will:

  • Receive comprehensive administration & marketing support.
  • Receive hands-on assistance from your mentor, including full REA supervision
  • Establish yourself in your area, build your market presence.
  • Learn the basics of business ownership and plan further for a strong ownership position.

This is a true growth period for you to establish the way you operate as a new Business Owner!

Step 3: Satellite

Now it's time to become known and expand your team. With your mentor, you will work on a recruitment strategy to build your team and your market share. You will also:

  • Work through the process of finding an office space.
  • Start your journey towards your Agents License if required.
  • Complete a sales management training - start to work and think like a business owner.

Step 4: Agency

You are now at the stage where your business is scaling. You have started building your team, opened an office and become an owner and a leader.

With your mentor, you will consolidate your understanding of the business side of ownership, recruitment, management, finances, marketing and strategy.

You will assume full responsibility for overseeing all your transactions, listings, legal documentation and finances. A time to celebrate!
