“Our home is bigger than it looks - from the outside it seems quite unassuming, but it is deceptively large and split over three levels, which means stairs, but also lots of different spaces to hang out and get a bit of peace.

It gets quieter as you go down levels and the lower level with the master bedroom, and ensuite, and the bush setting makes it feel like a beautiful peaceful retreat.

The views are spectacular, and we love watching the sunrise or sunset on the deck, and our favourite - the master bedroom, in bed, in the morning with a coffee.

There is the bush corridor that birds love and the trees and native bush on the property are so pretty and attract the Tui, Kereru and Ruru (morepork) in the evenings.

The home itself is spacious and well designed to receive lots of light and the sun throughout the day. The house is double glazed with a Perspex glazing system that keeps the house lovely and warm and plenty of windows gives us lots of different vistas and it is surprisingly warm even without curtains.

We are handy to the local shops and easy access to the motorway. There is a bus stop just across the road and a park and ride by the train station too, so commuting to work has never been easier. If you enjoy walking then the walk home up Dowse Drive takes 20 minutes in summer through Percy's Reserve and 30 minutes in Winter on the longer route. A nice way to end a day in the office.

There are lovely walks around the neighbourhood and plenty of gorgeous bush trails which we enjoyed exploring.”
